A Special Thank-You to Mick who so beautifully & painstakingly designed this tribute in 2000 for you Mom.

Katherine Frances Reiners, known to her family as Dolly was raised on the upper East Side of Manhattan, New York.  Growing up she attended local schools and as a young woman worked for Chase Manhattan Bank at the West 86th Street Branch.
On 9 March 1937, in Ellicott City, Maryland, Dolly married Edward John Gast of Baltimore.
Ed and Dolly had seven children, 19 grandchildren and 19 great~grandchildren.
Fluent in French and musically inclined, she played the piano and was often heard singing the French lullaby "Frère Jaques Frère Jaques" (Are You Sleeping) to her grandchildren.
She enjoyed traveling and often said her favorite destination was Hawaii and the magical islands of
Maui, Moloka'i and Lana'i! We sorely miss you!

  Aloha Dolly!
